About My Reviewing System

 

I review anime/manga I am currently watching/reading, year reviews, anime movies, anime/manga series reviews, and manga "only" series reviews. (Check the navigation bar)  All of my anime/manga reviews are series that I have watched three episodes or more or read one volume or more for the manga. I will also indicate whether the official story has ended or not. Types of Reviews

 

Mini Reviews: These reviews just feature my final thoughts on a series. I usually do this if I do not have much to say about it.

 

Full Reviews: Feature my thoughts on the Music/Sound, Animation/Art, Characters, Story/Premise, and my Personal Enjoyment. 

Each section represents a possible star and I always include a total of three recommendations for each series. I also include a brief summary of the pros and cons for people who do not want to read the whole detailed review.

To clarify: (I don't give fractions of a star)

10/10 Certified Classic = 5/5 stars (Worth Everything)

8/10 Good = 4/5 stars (Worth Watching)

6/10 Ok = 3/5 stars (Worth Recommending)

4/10 Average = 2/5 stars (Worth Considering)

2/10 Poor = 1/5 stars (Worth Nothing)

My Personal Bias

 

Another thing to note is my personal preference when it comes to anime. Romance and comedy are the two essential genres that I look for in an anime. I try to be an open-minded person and watch a variety of different genres, but no one can deny their own personal bias. The Clamp art style is my favorite manga art style and I am a big Rumiko Takahashi fan as well. Do not take it personally if I am not a big fan of your favorites!!! If you wish to argue, do so intelligently by using constructive criticism. Got it?
